Gladys Linburg Jett

Gladys Linburg Jett, 93, passed away on August 7, 2023. She was the wife of the late Midway Linburg and William “Buck” Jett. She was the daughter of the late Curt and Kate Hyder.

Gladys is survived by a daughter, Marilyn Hammond (Tim); her son, Bobby Linburg (Karen); a daughter in law, Sheila Smalley; a stepdaughter,  Valerie Sawyer (Bruce); a stepson, Ralph Jett (Sherry); a stepson in law, Larry Wells; a brother Larry Hyder (Pat); sisters, Eulalia Seay (Bryan), Mildred Sams and Jane Riley; a sister in law, Betty Hyder; eleven grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by a son, Rick Linburg; a daughter, Nancy Collins; a son in law, Jack Collins; a grandson, Mark Collins; a step daughter, Mimi Wells; a brother, Murrell Hyder; a sister, Dot Breitenbach; and three brothers in law, Bob Sams, David Breitenbach and Bud Riley.

A visitation will be held on Monday, August 14, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Bobo Funeral Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM at Bobo Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Rev. Charlie Sams and Rev. Ralph Jett will be conducting the service.
