Geneva “Bittie” Ann Rhinehart, 79, passed away on March 19, 2023. She was the wife of the late Elbert “Tiny” Rhinehart, and the daughter of the late Edward and Myrtle Langele.
Bittie loved the Alabama Crimson Tide. She was an avid gardener and loved quilting. She also enjoyed doing woodwork.
She is survived by daughters, Kathy Gulledge (Alan), Barbara Grigsby (Gary) and Miriam Pinkham (Billy); five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; special nieces, Linda Shellito (Mark) and Patricia Shaw (Ray); numerous nieces and nephews, along with great nieces and nephews; special friends, Margaret, Cathy and Kay; special extended family, Kevin (Johnnie) and their family; and last but not least, her fur babies, Lil’ Mann and Diamond.
Bitty is predeceased by a son, Jimmy Rhinehart; brothers, Charles “Buck” Langele Jr., Tarlton “Buddy” Langele, Oscar “Monk” Langele and James Langele; a sister, Aldora Odom; and the person with whom she found love again, Harvey Monroe.
The family will be having a private celebration of life at a later date.
