Fred "Freddie" Cook, Jr.

Spartanburg, SC:  Fred “Freddie” Cook, Jr., 49, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, May 22, 2021. Born November 23, 1971, he was the husband of Donna Cook and the son of the late Fred Sr. and Bonnie Cook.

Freddie was a hardworking man who loved the Lord. He loved his family, and was a great provider. Freddie fought cancer for three and a half years, but his faith in Christ never wavered.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son Westley Cook; a daughter Elizabeth Watson (Derek); a sister Candace Cantrell (Darryl); two grandchildren Carter Wyant and Nolan Ortiz; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 2:00pm - 3:00pm, Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Peace Freewill Baptist Church. Funeral service will be 3:00pm officiated by Rev. Chuck Thornton. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
