Edna Earl Rice

Cowpens, SC: Edna Earl Rice, 80, passed away at home Tuesday, October 12, 2021. Born July 6, 1941, she was the wife of the late Buford Rice, and the daughter of the late James and Massey Gideon.

Edna was a devoted mother, and babysitter.

She is survived by sons Leonard Rice (Cathy), Jimmy Rice, and Kenny Gideon (Maudie); a brother, Donny Gideon; a sister, Linda West; six grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

Edna was predeceased by a brother, Doug Gideon; and a sister; Ruby Fireball.

Visitation will be 11:00 AM- 12:00 PM on Monday, October 18, 2021 at Bobo Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Daniel Morgan Memorial Gardens with Rev. Chuck Thornton officiating.
