Dorothy (Sue) Chapman Henderson

Dorothy Sue Chapman Henderson, 74 passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.

She was a member of Clifton Second Baptist Church.

She was a loving wife, married to Charles Ray (Topper) Henderson for 56 years. She was a loving mother to Jennifer Burgess (husband Randy) and grandmother of Jennifer’s four beautiful daughters Abby, Bella, Makenna and Tori. She also had a special relationship with her nephew Hunter, whom she loved as her own son.

Sue was the daughter of the late Paul and Bertha Chapman of Clifton, SC. She has a sister, Patricia, and a brother, Tommy. She was predeceased by a brother Eddie. She also has several nephews and nieces, and one deceased nephew. She has many first cousins; 22 living and 4 deceased.

She was a good, loving, godly mother, grandmother, wife, aunt and cousin. We will all miss her dearly.

The family will receive friends, Monday, April 14, 2025, from 1:00pm – 2:00pm at Bobo Funeral Chapel. A memorial celebration of life service will be held at 2:00pm, officiated by Rev. David Frost and Rev. Ron Culbertson.
