David Gilbert Clark
Campobello, SC: David Gilbert Clark, 82, died peacefully October 28, 2021, at Spartanburg Regional Hospital. Born January 3, 1939, to Mortimer and Viola Clark he is survived by his two daughters Brenda Tanenbaum (Devin) of Walden, NY, and Shelly Nassivera (Ted) of Middletown, NY; and by his stepson Scott Imhof (Kathleen) of Monroe, NY; and by grandchildren Devin Tanenbaum, Jr., Brandon Tanenbaum, Jaclyn Imhof, Kelly Imhof, and Kyle Imhof. David is also survived by his very special friend of 13 years Midge Smith. He is predeceased by his brother William.
For thirty-six years David worked for Orange and Rockland Utilities keeping the lights on for the citizens of New York. He had special memories of camping with his girls when they were young. An avid NASCAR fan David also enjoyed restoring classic cars. His first restoration was a 1940 Ford Coupe and his last was a 1967 Chevrolet Impala.
