On Thursday, July 18, 2019, Daniel Stakharovskis, husband, father, and grandfather passed away at the age of 79. Daniel Stakharovskis was born to Alfred Fricis and Matilda Stakharovskis on June 6, 1940 in Auce, Latvia. On August 23, 1963, he married Ruta Jankovska. They raised three sons, Edmund, Valdis, and Ziedonis.
Daniel always had a sense of humor, which he shared with other people. He loved his grandchildren, always making time to play with them. He loved listening to the old redback hymns. He was known for his love of nature, farming and quick wit.
Daniel was preceded in death by his father, Alfred, and his mother, Matilda, as well as his sister Tamara Rita Staharovksis. He is survived by his wife Ruta, his three sons, Edmund (Vera), Valdis, and Ziedonis (Tanya), as well as eight grandsons, Erik, Edvin, David, Daniel, Jacob, Phillip, Samuel and Jonathan.
