Claude C. Crocker
Spartanburg, SC: Claude C. Crocker, 84, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Tuesday, January 19, 2021. Born February 24, 1936, he was the husband of Sarah Nell Crocker of 59 years, and the son of the late Joseph A. and Millie B. Crocker.
Claude graduated from Cowpens High School and Rutledge Business College. He served 22 years in the US Navy served as an AMS-1, and retired from Orkin Exterminators. He was a member of Friends of Faith Baptist Church. Claude was known for his wit and humor, for his love for NASCAR, bluegrass and gospel music. He loved his children, grandchildren, and was loved by everyone he met. He never met a stranger, and lived life to the fullest.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Bo Crocker, and J.D. Crocker and wife Jane; grandchildren Melissa Sprouse, Heather Crocker, Emily Crocker, Grant Crocker, and Ryan Crocker; a brother Paul Crocker and wife Beverly; and a sister Joyce Brady and husband Wayne. He was predeceased by four brothers Woodrow Crocker, Joe Crocker, Jr., Charles Crocker, and Hiram Crocker.
A memorial service will be 11:00 am, Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Thompson Chapel Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Dennis Spencer and Rev. David Moore.
