Charles "Sonny" Wilburn Cody

Spartanburg, SC: Charles “Sonny” Wilburn Cody, 63, passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2021. Sonny was the son of the Late Morris Cody, and is survived by his mother, Carolyn Gosnell.

Sonny was of the Baptist faith. He was a fan of Carolina Panther football. He loved his family, and his family loved him.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by two brothers, Daniel Cody and Shannon Gosnell; a sister Lori Emily (Bruce); nieces Carla Hendrix and Tabitha Webb; nephews Josh, Nicholas and Corey Gosnell; two great nieces, Addison and Nova Hendrix; and a great nephew, Hunter Sherbert.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Fairview Free Will Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Tim Hackett.
