Spartanburg, SC: Charles Sam Tolbert, 78, passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2021. Born September 15, 1943 in Saltville, VA, he was the son of the late Sam and Virginia Hyman Tolbert.
He is survived by a daughter Lisa Boothes Doyle; three brothers William Tolbert, Darrell Tolbert and Dale Tolbert (Jeanna) of Saltville, VA; a sister Lena Stevenson (Louie) of Saltville, VA; and a special brother Ricky Cummings (Barbara) of Boiling Springs, SC. He was predeceased by a brother Monk Tolbert; and a sister Mollie Taylor.
