Charles E. Owens

Charles E. Owens, 82, passed away on May 3, 2023. He was the husband of Carolyn Owens and the late Sylvia Owens, and the son of the late Samuel and Lillian Owens.

Charles was a devoted Church member and loved hunting and fishing.

He is survived by sons, Samuel “Chip” Owens, Scott Owens and Todd Owens; a daughter, Pam Owens; step sons, Jimmy Thomas (Beverly) and Jeff Thomas (Theresa); and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Charles is predeceased by brothers, Joe Owens and William Owens; and a sister, Frances Owens.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Emmanuel Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM at Emmanuel Baptist Church. Rev. Frankie Taylor and Rev. Dennis Burger will be conducting the service. Burial will be at Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery.
