Carolyn Teresa Luther

Spartanburg, SC:  Carolyn Teresa Luther, 79, wife of the late Bruce Frederick Luther (pictured), passed away peacefully at home on January 2, 2024. Born in Hasbrook Heights, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Helen Drecksage.

She loved dogs, showed Pembroke Welsh Corgis and was historically active with the Spartanburg Animal Shelter, helping initiate a program where shelter dogs provided therapy to the local elderly community.

Carolyn is survived by sons, Bobby Duda of Palm Bay, FL and Bill Duda of Irmo, SC; daughters, Annmarie Travis of Spartanburg, SC and Patti White of Brown Summitt, NC; and her beloved dog, Gabby.

Services and burial will be private.
