Betty McSwain

Arcadia, SC:  Betty Jean McSwain, 87, went home to be with her Lord Saturday, September 26, 2020. Born November 13, 1932 in Spindale, NC she was the wife of the late Jimmy McSwain and the daughter of the late Arthur and Dolly Goode.

Mrs. McSwain was a faithful member of Crossway Church, a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She was loved deeply and will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by a daughter Carolyn Cartee and husband Norman of Arcadia; six grandchildren, five great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren; a brother Phillip Goode and wife Mary; and a sister Eula Lee Goode.  She was predeceased by two sons Billy McSwain and Terrell McSwain; two daughters Pamela Hensley and Vickie Waddell; and two brothers Jerry Goode and Wayne Goode.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm – 8:00pm Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at Bobo Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be 1:00pm Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at Crossway Church officiated by Rev. Kevin Smith.
