Betty Lou (Whitt) Bruce

Betty Lou Whitt Bruce 84 of Spartanburg passed away at Ellen Sagar Nursing Center, Union. She was the wife of the late John Bruce for 45 years, and the daughter of the late Charlie and Edna Whitt.

She is survived by her daughters, Denise Gilbert (Eddie) and Debbie Willis; sons, Randall Sprouse and Keith Sprouse (Nancy); a brother, Harold Whitt; eight grandchildren; and fifteen great grandchildren.  

She was predeceased by a son, Paul Steven Sprouse; a brother, Weldon Whitt; a sister, Inez Whitt; and a grandson, Daniel Thompson.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 15, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Bobo Funeral Chapel. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 16, at Graham Chapel Wesleyan Church at 2:00 pm. The service will be conducted by Rev. James Henderson and Rev. Preston Edmonds. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
