Sarah "Betty" Elizabeth (McKinney) Bishop

CHESNEE, SC:    Sarah (Betty) Elizabeth McKinney Dalton Bishop, 91, passed away March 26, 2018.   Born May 14, 1926, she was a daughter of the late John Henry and Gladys Chaffin McKinney. Betty was the widow of Willard Dalton and Oliver Bishop. She was also predeceased by two sons, Wayne Dalton and John Dalton; two daughters, Brenda and Janice Dalton; a sister, Nancy Arthur and a brother, Donald McKinney.

Betty is survived by two daughters-in-law, Gail C. Dalton and Sandy K. Dalton; a step-daughter, Janis Summers and a step-son, Dan Bishop; sisters, Jo-Sandra Abbott (Johnny) and Trish Baughcome (Kenneth);   two brothers Billy McKinney and Walker McKinney;  three grandchildren, one step-grandchild, six great-grandchildren, and two step-great-grandchildren.

She was a long-time member of Chesnee Southside Baptist Church and retired from Reeves Bros.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 28, at Chesnee Southside Church with Rev. Harold King and Rev. Glenn Rusher officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service.  Private burial will be in Springhill Memorial Gardens.
