Samuel T. Yount, Jr.

CONVERSE, SC:   Samuel Thomas Yount, Jr., 54, husband of Evalena Hendrickson Yount, passed away December 7, 2017.  He was the son of Linda Waddell Yount and the late Samuel T. Yount, Sr. 

He worked with Tezza Tile, was of the Baptist faith, and was a loving family man.  He enjoyed fishing, auto mechanics, and spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by two daughters, Stephenie J. Turner of Woodruff and Melonie Lynn Johnson (Eric, fiancé) of Spartanburg; a brother, Ricky Yount (Teresa) of Chesnee; a sister, Rhonda Thompson (Robert) of Converse; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Memorial service will be 3:30 p.m., Friday, December 15, 2017 at Bobo Funeral Chapel.
