SPARTANBURG, SC:    Lily Tobias Denton, 95, widow of James Carl Denton, Jr., passed away February 11, 2018, at Hospice of Carolina Foothills.    Born in Summerville, SC, to the late Edgar Francis Tobias and Elise Hodge Tobias, she was the last survivor of 11 siblings.  

She was a member of Evangel Cathedral and a former LPN with Spartanburg Regional Hospital.

Mrs. Denton is survived by a son, James C. Denton, III (Jean) and a daughter, Florence Bennett; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 p.m., Friday, February 16, at Bobo Funeral Chapel followed by the service at 2:00 with Rev. Dr. Reggie Parker officiating.  Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
