Lila “Teresa” Foster

Cowpens, SC:  Lila “Teresa” Foster, 63, went home to be with her Lord Sunday, December 1, 2019. Born December 18, 1955 in Cowpens, she was the wife of Ellis Foster and the daughter of James Lyda.

Teresa was a retired CNA and a faithful dedicated member of Bible Truth Baptist Church. For her it was the simple things in life that brought her happiness and joy. Her greatest joy was doing and caring for others as she always put the needs of others first in her life.

In addition to her husband she is survived by sons Ray Foster of Cowpens, Richard Foster of Boiling Springs, and Ronnie Foster of Boiling Springs; brothers Kenneth Lyda of Spartanburg, and Eugene Lyda and wife Barbara of Spartanburg. She also leaves behind two special people she considered as sons Robbie and Bobbie Fletcher.

The family will receive friends from 1:00pm – 2:00pm, Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Bible Truth Baptist Church. A memorial service will follow at 2:00pm officiated by Rev. David Biggs and Rev. Rick Lunsford.
