I loved the man !! He was so cool ! Spent many a summer at his house down on the creek.I remember so many good times with LB ,Francis Danny,Mikey,Scotty and the lovely Kay. I had lost touch with him for a few years but found him again over the phone. Over the past few years we have talked for hours by phone. He told me so many things about my family I did not know !
I LOVE YOU LB !!

I talked to L.B. a few times while he was sick, I really thought a lot of him. I''ll never forget him, he was always there when you needed or when another member of our  family passed on. He always checked on Harold Dean when we were growing up, I loved his mother also. I wanted to come to his funeral, but I was just not able. For the family, I am so sorry. I prayed for him before he passed, since I have been praying for all the family. May God Bless all of you,
                                                                           Marie Rice Stone

LB always had a smile and kinds words for all he met . I knew him from the " old days " at Clarkson Bros. I ran into LB at Ingles not too long ago and we shared some memories of the drivers from years past and how few were still with us . LB will be missed ........ David

My uncle LB was my daddys(Garland Brown) baby brother .
He was always there if you ever needed him.
He loved doing things to help anybody.
The way he laughed and those blue eyes would melt your
heart. He loved his family and it showed. My prayers go out
to his family especially Kay who was faithfuly by his side taking
care of him.
