Joseph Jefferson Seay

Joseph Jefferson Seay, 84, of Chesnee, SC died Monday, January 7, 2019 at Mary Black Memorial Hospital.  Mr. Seay was the husband of the late Shirley Painter Seay and was the son of the late Joseph T. and Jeanette Cooksey Seay.

            Mr. Seay was a regional manager for Freeman Gas.  He was a member of Cannon’s Camp Ground United Methodist Church and loved horseback riding.

            Survivors include a son, Jeff Seay; two daughters, Kris S. Estes and her husband Jimmy, and Deedra S. Hughey; a brother, Richard D. Seay and his wife Nancy; ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren , one great-great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

            Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. , Friday, January 11, 2019 at Cannon’s Camp Ground United Methodist Church followed be memorial services at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Joe Blackwelder officiating.

            Memorials may be made to Cannon’s Camp Ground United Methodist Church, 3450 Cannons Campground Rd., Spartanburg, SC  29307.
