James G. Vorce

Spartanburg, SC: James George Vorce, 55, passed away Sunday May 6, 2018 at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice House. He was the husband of Katherine Vorce and the son of the late Irving G. Vorce and Sarah J. Dixon.

Mr. Vorce was originally from Texas and eventually moved with his wife to South Carolina where he was employed with Senator International. He was a sweet loving husband who enjoyed panning for gold and other precious gems. He was a chef, a master carpenter, and an accomplished musician who loved playing the guitar.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Vorce is survived by two sons Matthew Jarmon of Texas and Michael Wilde of Texas; a brother Scott Vorce and wife Jill of Texas, and a sister Lisa Wilhelm and husband Michael of Texas.

A memorial service in celebration of life will be 4:00 P.M. Wednesday May 9, 2018 at the home of Sharon Davy, 311 McMillin Blvd. Boiling Springs, SC.
