Gregory Alan Smith

SPARTANBURG, SC:  Gregory Alan Smith, 57, passed away at home June 5, 2017.  He was born in Biloxi, Mississippi, to the late Charles Daniel Smith and Yvette Hanrion Smith.  He graduated from Georgia Tech College and has been a resident of South Carolina for 20 years.

He is survived by two sisters, Miriam Patton and husband, John, of Orlando, FL and Laura Proctor and husband, Kevin, of Lewisville, TX, and  nephew, Trevor L. Proctor; step-mother, Ann M. Smith; an aunt with whom he resided, Brenda Swygert, and husband, John, of Inman, SC.; an uncle, H. Tom Baggett, of Inman, SC; and other cousins.

Memorial service will be at Mountain View Baptist Church, 5555 Parris Bridge Rd., Boiling Springs, SC, 29316, Friday, July 14, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. David Frost officiating.
