George "Dinky" Turner, Jr.

PAULINE, SC:  George Aaron "Dinky" Turner, Jr., 81 , of Pauline, passed away May 13, 2017 at Regional Hospice House.  Mr. Turner was the son of the late George Aaron Turner, Sr. and Virginia Gwinn.
     Mr. Turner was a member of Reality Worship Center of Lyman where his son is pastor and previously a longstanding member of Fairforest Church of God.  He was retired from Chapman Grading and Concrete and was a self proprietor of George's Arch Welding Services.
     Survivors include five children, Nona Lisa Ontiveros and her husband Jose, Rev. George A. Turner III and his wife Pam, William Edward "Eddie" Reece and his wife Margie, Lorie Ann Simpson, and Tonya Rena Taylor and her husband Tony; sixteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.  He was predeceased by a sister, JennyVee Saxon and great granddaughter McKayla Turner.
      A memorial service will be held Sunday, May 21, 2017 at 3:00 pm at Fairforest Church of God officiated by Rev. John Petty III and Rev. George A. Turner III.
