Evelyn W. Wade

Chesnee, SC:  Evelyn W. Wade, 84, widow of Carroll O. Wade, passed away February 3, 2018.  Born September 3, 1933 she was the daughter of the late Loster M. and Lelia M. Wilkerson.

Mrs. Wade was retired from Arrow Automotive and a long-time member of Central Baptist Church, Cowpens, SC.

Mrs. Wade is survived by a son Steve Wade and wife Belinda of Chesnee; a daughter Carolyn Stone and husband Bobby of Boiling Springs; a sister Bonnie Jolley and husband Furman; and grandchildren Shannon Derriso and husband Steve, Clint Wade and wife Shannon, Taylor Wade and wife Taylor. She is predeceased by a brother Larry Wilkerson.

Mrs. Wade fought a long, hard, courageous battle and the family would like to express a special thanks to the amazing staff of the Spartanburg regional Hospice House for all their love and care.

The family will receive friends Monday February 5, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Bobo Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday February 6, 2018 at Central Baptist Church, Cowpens, officiated by Rev. Jason Metcalf and Rev. Allen D. Blanton.  Burial will follow in Daniel Morgan Memorial Gardens.

The family is at the home of Steve and Belinda Wade.
