Spartanburg - Edna Carpenter Yount, 79, died Sunday, April 7, 2019. She was the daughter of the late Will Carpenter and Myrty Dalton Carpenter and the wife of the late William Floyd Yount St.

Mrs. Yount was a homemaker.

Survivors include three children, Pamela Millwood (David), William Floyd Yount, Jr., and Steven Mack Yount (Tammy Cantrell): a brother, Major Carpenter, and three grandchildren. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Krystal Millwood, and several brothers and sisters.

The family will receive friends 5-8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 11, 2019, at the home of her grandson, Travis Millwood of Spartanburg
