Donald William McGraw

GLENDALE, SC – Donald William McGraw, 70, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Regional Hospice Home.  He was the son of the late Ralph and Ruth Proctor McGraw.  He was survived by many nieces and nephews.

Mr. McGraw was a graduate of Pacolet High School and Limestone College.  He was a private music teacher, former employee of Community Cash, Walmart, and Ingle’s, organist, pianist and music director at area churches.  He was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church and Glendale Masonic Lodge No. 271. 

He was a family genealogist, a member of the Genealogical Society of Old Tryon County; past president of Arledge Reunion Committee, member of Tennessee Chapter of the National Huguenot Society, former member of Society of Mareen Duvall Descendants.  He did much research of the science-fiction writer Robert Moore Williams.

Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 10, at Bobo Funeral Chapel.  Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Wayne Major and Rev. Larry Holland officiating.  Interment will be  in Bethesda Baptist Church Cemetery.
