Cathy Chastain-McLyea

Moore, SC: Cathy Chastain-McLyea, 63, died Monday, January 13, 2020.  She was the wife of the late Roger James McLyea and the daughter of Betty Jean Ezell and the late Richard Hamlet Crocker and the step-daughter of Johnnie Ezell.

Cathy was a graduate of the USCS Mary Black School of Nursing and was a Nurse Supervisor at White Oak Manor North Grove.  She was a member of First Baptist of North Spartanburg.

Survivors include a son, David Jason McCullough and a daughter, Lindsay Chastain Clayton and her husband James; a brother, Richard Hamlet Crocker, Jr.; a sister, Mary Foster Setzer; and three grandchildren, Chloe McCullough, John McCullough, and Ashton Clayton.

Graveside services will be 11:00 am, Thursday, January 16, 2020 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens officiated by Rev. Henry Coley.  Interment will follow. The family will receive friends at the home of Lindsay Chastain Clayton starting at 2:00 pm.
