SPARTANBURG: Blanche Fowler Addington, 75, died Monday, April 26, 2010 at White Oak Manor. Mrs. Addington was the wife of the late Claude Newton Addington and the daughter of the late Jack and Lucille Mabry Fowler.
Mrs. Addington enjoyed her career as an insurance agent with Jefferson Pilot before her retirement. She was a member at First Baptist North Spartanburg, a loving mother and a wonderful homemaker.
Survivors include three sons, Michael B. Addington and wife Rita; David A. Addington, Sr.; Eric T. Addington and wife Robin all of Spartanburg; one daughter Rene’ A. Halliday of Spartanburg; one sister, Pat F. Campbell and husband Larry of Spartanburg; eight grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. She was predeceased by one son, Tony M. Addington.
Visitation will be 12:00 PM until 1:45 PM, Wednesday, April 28, followed by the funeral service at 2:00 PM. at Bobo Funeral Chapel. Rev. Frank LyBrand and Chaplain Donald Gibson will be officiating. Interment will be at Daniel Morgan Memorial Gardens.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC 29615.
The family will be at their respective homes.
