Arthur Yates

SPARTANBURG, SC:   Arthur Bernard Yates, 66, husband of Janet Robbins Yates, passed away April 27, 2017.   Born in Newberry, SC, he was the son of the late Barney Meyer Yates and Maybelle Arthur Yates.  

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Brian A. Yates (Jessica) and David S. Yates (Ashley); two grandsons, Brenson and Bentley Yates.   He was predeceased by his in-laws, Billy and Doris Robbins.

Mr. Yates was of the Methodist faith and retired as a Maintenance Engineer with B K Industries. He had a great love for his family, classic cars, and the outdoors, especially the lake.

Cryptside services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 29, at the Greenlawn Mausoleum Complex with Rev. Al Phillips officiating.
