Albert Wylda Crocker

Spartanburg, SC:  Albert Wylda Crocker, 96, a native of Spartanburg County went home to be with the Lord August 11, 2018 at Spartanburg Medical Center.  Born August 8, 1922 he was the son of the late Albert E. and Ella McCombs Crocker. He was the husband of the late Delora Hardin Crocker.

He was a life-long farmer, retired from the dry cleaning business, and he bought and sold real estate. Mr. Crocker served faithfully at Glendale Baptist Church as a deacon, Sunday School Director, Training Union Director and in many other roles as the Lord called.  He was loved.

He is survived by sons Cecil L. Crocker and wife Joyce of Spartanburg, Albert W. Crocker, Jr. and wife Ruby of Boiling Springs; daughters Brenda K. Orr of the home, Rebecca Lewis and husband Earl of Clinton; seven grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by four brothers Eston, James V., Paul, and Clarence Crocker.

Visitation will be 6:00pm - 8:00pm Monday August 13, 2018 at Bobo Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be 3:00pm Tuesday August 14, 2018 at Bobo Funeral Chapel officiated by Rev. Tim Clark and Billy Orr.  Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
