Diane Davis Gilbert

Diane Davis Gilbert, 77, went home to be with the Lord on February 22, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Robert Davis Jr. and Fay McCarter Davis.

Diane loved to spend quality time with her family. She enjoyed planting flowers; her favorite being snapdragons and pansies. She loved birds, but chickadees and red birds were among her favorites. Diane also loved to shop on QVC.

She is survived by daughters, Christina Thompson (Lloyd), Tonya Johnson (David) and Nikki Gilbert (Brad); a brother, Gary Davis (Robin); a sister, Gail Huff (Eddie); grandchildren, David Worthy Jr. (Heather), Stephen Smith, Amber Smith, Brittany Wall (Tyler), Leslie Johnson (Nick), Arielle Gilbert, Chris Mauldin and Emylie Bray; and ten great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, February 25, 2024 at Petty Funeral Home from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. The funeral service will follow at Petty Funeral Home at 3:00 PM. Rev. Dr. Terry Floyd will be conducting the service. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the home of Christina Thompson.
