Anita Humphries
SPARTANBURG, SC: Anita Louise Jaynes Humphries, 72, died Monday, July 16, 2012, at Valley Falls Terrace. Born in Ft. Worth, TX, she was the daughter of the late Hobart and Mamie Woods Jaynes.
She was a member of Clifton Church of God and worked as an expeditor at Seimens. She was the rock of the family, loved music and dancing, and wrote poetry.
She is survived by daughters, Alice H. Lawson of Chesnee, Donna H. Davis (James) of Cowpens, and Teresa H. Wease of Moore; a brother, Hobart Jaynes of Ft. Worth, TX; a sister, Janie J. Fulfer of Ft. Worth, Tx; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Private family funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at Bobo Funeral Chapel officiated by Rev. Bruce Guy. Burial will be in Springhill Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 901 S. Pine St., Spartanburg, SC, 29302.
