Yates Robert “Bobby” Gilmore, Jr.

SPARTANBURG, SC:  Yates Robert “Bobby” Gilmore, Jr., 80, died Monday, August 28, 2017.  The son of the late Yates Robert Gilmore, Sr., and Brady Ballew Gilmore, he was the husband of Elaine Collins Gilmore.  Mr. Gilmore was the father of his greatly beloved son, Todd Y. Gilmore and his wife, Tina Nodine Gilmore.

Additional survivors include two brothers, Larry Gilmore of Spartanburg and Tony Gilmore and his wife, Susan Eubanks Gilmore of Landrum.  He was predeceased by a sister, Beverly G. Watson.

Mr. Gilmore was a native of Landrum, SC, and a member of Glendale Baptist Church.  He was retired from Sulzer Ruti and previously worked at Firestone Steel.

Visitation will be 1:00-3:00 p.m., Thursday, August 31, at Bobo Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will follow in the chapel at 3:00 p.m. officiated by Rev. Daniel Blackwell.  Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
