Odell Autry Bennett

COWPENS, SC:   Odell Autry Bennett, 78, husband of Lillie Edgins Bennett, went home to be with the Lord August 31, 2016.   Born in Kings Mountain, NC, he was the son of the late Rev. Eddie Bennett and Leloa Smith Bennett.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a granddaughter, Kandace Bennett; a grandson, Cameron Cassels; two great grandsons, Noah Bennett and Kristian Bennett; a great granddaughter, Gabriella Bennett; a brother, Edward Bennett (Karen); and a sister, Peggy B. Connor.  He was predeceased by a daughter, Kimberly Bennett.

Mr. Bennett retired from Hoechst Celanese and was a member of Peace Free Will Baptist Church.  He loved the Lord, was a caring and loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Visitation will be Friday, September 2, 4:00-6:00 p.m., at Peace Free Will Baptist Church followed by the service at 6:00 p.m. officiated by Rev. Chuck Thornton.  Burial will be in Love Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
