Nelda Sawyer Dietz

DRAYTON, SC:   Nelda Ruth Sawyer Dietz, 81, wife of William “Bill” Dietz, passed away April 10, 2017.    She was the daughter of the late William Otto Sawyer and Fay Porter Sawyer.  She retired from The Salvation Army as Receptionist/Bookkeeper.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Tim Satterfield; a step-son, William Michael Dietz; a daughter, Elizabeth S. Moore, two brothers, Glenn Sawyer (Joyce) and William Sawyer (Edna); a sister, Frankie S. Upton (Archie); five grandchildren, Angie, Meghan, James, Adam, and Samantha; three great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by two sisters and one brother.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 12, at Bobo Funeral Chapel.  Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 13, at Bobo Funeral Chapel with Captain Donnie Marvel and Major Fred Carver officiating.  Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
