Myrtle H. Scruggs

INMAN, SC:   Myrtle H. Scruggs, 89, formerly of 136 Battleground Rd, Cowpens, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ September 14, 2016, at Magnolia Manor-Inman.   She was a daughter of the late Geary and Jennie Bible Hall and widow of Benjamin Scruggs.  She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and a homemaker.

She is survived by two sisters, Lillie Mae Williams and Janie Crocker; three grandchildren, Angela J. Emory, Janet K. Emory, and Cheryl Hames; and two great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by two sons, Hubert L. and Buddy L. Hames; a daughter, Nettie Mae Emory; three brothers, Charles, Junior and James Ray Hall; and a sister, Irene Sullivan.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 17, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with Dr. Todd Black and Pastor Brian Bird officiating.
