Max Morris

COWPENS, SC:   Max Reid Morris, 81, husband of Judy Quinn Morris, passed away May 3, 2017, at Mary Black Hospital.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by son, Jeff Morris (Julie);  daughter, Tammy Morris (Tim);  sister, Carolyn McGlohon; seven grandchildren, Charity Garrett (Ron), Brittany Morris, Austin Johnson, Summer Cooke (Dusty), Taylor, Brandon, and Zoey Morris; two great grandchildren, Aubrey and Olivia Satterfield.  He was predeceased by his mother, Wilma Morris, and his twin sister, Maxine Morris.

Mr. Morris was a member of Calvary Baptist Church for 26 years and retired as a superintendent from Clarkson Industrial Contractors after 47 years.  He had a great work dedication to his church, a great love for his family, and a tremendous sense of humor.

Visitation will be 12:00-2:00 p.m., Friday, May 5, at Calvary Baptist Church followed by the service at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Henry Coley and Jimmy Cochran officiating.  Burial will be in Daniel Morgan Memorial Gardens.
