Marilyn Justus

SPARTANBURG, SC:  Marilyn Loy Kolb Justus, 78, widow of Rev. Larry Leon Justus, died July 24, 2016, at Spartanburg Medical Center.  Born in Asheville, NC, she was a daughter of the late John Lloyd Kolb and Virginia Southers Kolb. 

She was a longtime resident of Asheville, NC, a member of Haw Creek Christian Church where her husband, Larry, ministered, and a homemaker and beloved mother of three children.  She was a great cook, gardener, and artistic – enjoying painting and drawing.  She enjoyed vacationing at the beach and holidays with family.

Mrs. Justus is survived by two sons, Timothy L. Justus (Diana) of Mooresville, NC, and Michael A. Justus (Amanda) of Spartanburg; a daughter, Cynthia J. Ledford (David) of Fletcher, NC; a sister, Anneice K. Crawford (Jim) of Ashville, NC;  two grandchildren, Eli Ledford and Alayna Justus.

The family will have a Memorial Service, 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 30, 2016, at Northbrook Baptist Church, Boiling Springs, SC, officiated by Rev. Benny Green, followed by fellowship.
