Spartanburg – Linda Loftis McSwain, 70, of Spartanburg, died Wednesday, October 4, 2017.  Mrs. McSwain was the daughter of the late Dennis Jay Loftis and Ruby Godrey Loftis.

            Mrs. McSwain worked as a CNA, and in her earlier years she worked for Beaumont Mills.  She was a member of Boiling Springs Church of Christ.  She was a unique woman with a strong spirit, and she had a great love for her family.

            Survivors include two daughters, Gina L. Gold (Robert) of Rutherfordton, NC and Traci M. Chapman (Jeannie) of Spartanburg;  three brothers, Larry Loftis (Dorothy) of Forest City, NC, Ronnie Loftis (Judy) of Boiling Springs, SC, and Mike Loftis of Shelby, NC; one sister, Tina L. Fowler of Gaffney, SC; and three grandchildren, Christian, Megan, and Mara Gold.  She was predeceased by two brothers, Ricky and David Loftis.

            Visitation will be 12:00 noon – 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Bobo Funeral Chapel followed by graveside services at 1:30 in Sunset Memorial Park officiated by Rev. Laura Jones.

            Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
