Larry Blanton

SPARTANBURG, SC:   Larry Howell Blanton, 71, husband of Helen Fannon Blanton, died January 22, 2017, at Regional Healthcare System.  He was the son of the late Howell Blanton and Velma Fowler Blanton Lynch. 

Mr. Blanton was retired from maintenance at Spartan Mills and was a member of United Baptist Church (formerly Northview Baptist).  He was a good Christian, husband and provider.  He was a CB operator with the handle “Size Man”.

He is survived by two sisters-in-law, Adeline Ina West and husband, David, of Spartanburg, SC and Linda Suneson and husband, Glenn, of Prattville, AL; one nephew, Mark Jones of Beech Island, SC.

Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 26, at United Baptist Church on Valley Falls Rd., with Rev. Robert Emory officiating.
