Cowpens, SC:  Jimmy Dean Wood, 76, died Friday March 24, 2017.  He was the son of the late Allen Wood and Lillie Davis Wood.

He was a life-long resident of Spartanburg County, a lively and energetic person. He was an electrician employed by the former Richard Cash Electric Company.

He is survived by a son, Timothy Dean Wood of Enoree; two nephews, Richard Allen Seay and Robert Mark Seay of Cowpens; and one niece, Robin Wofford of Spartanburg. He was predeceased by two sisters, Agnes Wood and Ruth Seay.
