Carson Seals

SPARTANBURG, SC:   James Carson Seals, 87, passed away December 17, 2017.  He was the son of the late Otis and Georgia Bellamy Seals.

He was a member of Clifton Second Baptist Church, Clifton Masonic Lodge, and Sparkle City Car Club.  He retired from Western Union and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force with rank of Sergeant.

Mr. Seals is survived by his fiancé, Shirley Gordon; sister, Joretta S. Gilbert; special cousin, Betty H. Carr; and brother-in-law, Pliny H. Shropshire.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by sisters, Blanche S. Hipp, Mildred S. Mathis, and Dreama S. Shropshire.

Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 22, at Sunset Memorial Park.
