Edna Mallory Harrell

CHESNEE, SC:   Edna Elizabeth Mallory Harrell, 93, widow of Herbert Graley Harrell, passed away November 18, 2016, at home.   Born in Clifton, SC, she was the daughter of the late Edward Windfield Mallory and Lucendy Elizabeth Lype.

Mrs. Harrell retired as a personal secretary with Jackson Mill. She was a former member of Eastern Star and a member of Eastside Baptist Church.  Her father helped build Clifton Second Baptist Church where she was a member for 70 years.  She was very strong in her faith and was loved by all.

She is survived by a niece, Claudia M. Bragg and husband, William, of Chesnee, who were also her caregivers; three nephews, David Mallory of Spartanburg, Robert Mallory and wife, Bess, of Inman, and Haskell Mallory of Tryon; and great nieces and great nephews to whom she was considered a grandmother.  She was predeceased by three brothers, Gaither, Herbert, and Haskell Mallory; one niece, Sandra Mallory and one nephew, Herbert Mallory.

Visitation will be 11:30 am-1:00 pm, Monday, November 21, at Bobo Funeral Chapel followed by services at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Michael Royal officiating.  Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
