Spartanburg – Dorothy Evelyn Tippett, 93, of Spartanburg, died Monday, June 13, 2016 at her home.  She was the daughter of the late John William Tippett and  Ethel Lowe Tippett. 

          Miss Tippett was a government inspector and was a member of Southside Baptist Church.

          Surivivors include two sisters, Patsy Tippett and Betty T. Moore.

          Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens officiated by Dr. Schuyler Peterson.
