Cary W. Sanders

ROEBUCK, SC:  Cary Walter Sanders, 78, husband of Jeanne Reece Sanders, passed away February 16, 2017, at Restorative Care.  Son of the late Copher and Eva Sanders, he was a life-long resident of Roebuck.

He retired August 2016 after 38 years of service in the Parts Department of Wakefield Buick.  He was a member of Glendale Wesleyan Church and was in the U.S. Navy Reserves for 13 years.   He was a family man--a wonderful husband, father, and papa, and was always willing to help others.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Chris Sanders; four daughters, Tammy Mittag, Autumn Knighton (Tony), Michelle Sanders, and Dawn Dickerson (Jason); a brother, Manuel Sanders (Sue); 12 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his parents, 4 sisters, and a brother.

Visitation will be 12:00-2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 18, at Bobo Funeral Chapel followed by the service at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Marc Walters and Clayton Soules officiating.  Burial will be in Heritage Memorial Gardens.
