Carolyn Jean Farr

Spartanburg, SC:  Carolyn Jean Farr, 65, passed away December 29, 2017. She was the daughter of the late George Pressley and Mamie Pendleton Pressley Thompson.  

She was a life-long resident of Spartanburg County, and a bookkeeper for Barnet Southern. She was a private person who loved her family and her pets.

Mrs. Farr is survived by a son Johnny Ray Farr and wife Valeria of LaPlace, La.; five grandchildren Nicholas Bright and wife Tina, Joni Farr, Diana Farr, Lia Farr, and Linsey Farr; two great granddaughters Madison Hall and Alice Bright; a favorite cousin Anne Jeter Leso; a special friend Joanne Deese. She was predeceased by a son Alfred Walter Farr, Jr.; two brothers Floyd Pressley and Ronnie Pressley; a sister Ann P. Stapleton.

Visitation will be 6:00-7:00pm, Thursday January 4, 2018 at Bobo Funeral Chapel. A memorial service will follow at 7:00pm officiated by Rev. David Frost.
