Beverly Garrett Lewis

MAYO, SC:   Beverly Ann Garrett Lewis, 58, passed away March 21, 2017, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. 

She is survived by parents, Jesse and Peggy Garrett of Mayo; daughter, Jillian “Jilly” Lewis, of Chesnee; son, Jacob “Jake” Lewis (Amberly) of Mayo; four grandchildren, Alanna, Aubrey, Dahlia, and Zeppelin; niece, Grace Garrett; nephews, Rusty Garrett (Amber) and Eli Garrett; great-nephew, Wilson.  She was predeceased by brothers, Mickey and Timothy Garrett, and her former husband, Jay Allen Lewis.

Beverly was a member of Chesnee First Baptist Church, received her Bachelor’s Degree from Spartanburg Methodist College, and was employed with Tindall Corp. in project planning and accounting. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and her Tindall Corp. family.  She had great artistic abilities and she enjoyed party planning and the beach.

Visitation will be Friday, March 24, 6:00-8:00 p.m., at Bobo Funeral Chapel.

Funeral service will be Saturday, March 25, 1:00 p.m., at Chesnee First Baptist Church with Dr. Gary Grogan and Rev. Preston Edmonds officiating.  Burial will follow in Springhill Memorial Gardens.

The family gives special thanks to cousins, Donna, Sandra, and Wanda.
